Located in the middle of the Caribou and Monashee ranges is one of British Columbia’s premier snowmobiling destinations. A scenic hour and a half drive from Jasper brings you to the Kiwa, Clemina, Allan, Horsey Creek and Westridge areas that are known for their deep powder and spectacular alpine views. These areas are reached by groomed trails that open up onto rolling alpine meadows at the 6000 to 7000 foot level. Warm-up cabins are available on a shared basis with other riders in the area. Come and enjoy some of our “local” colour!

Clemina Creek
The drive out to British Columbia’s majestic Caribou and Monashee ranges offers many opportunities for wildlife viewing. Moose and elk abound the river valleys westward.

Mount Robson Provincial Park is visited and when the clouds are high, views of the tallest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Mount Robson at l3,000’, will be spectacular.

The groomed trail up to Clemina runs along beside a rarely used logging road. Snowfall deep in this forest pulls down the old cedar branches only to launch bucketfuls of snow onto the unsuspecting visitor. Watch out!

Sunshine sparkles off the big snowy crystals like diamonds. After a 15 km ride up we come to the warm-up cabin. A hearty wood fire awaits your rosy cheeks. Pull up a bench and enjoy.

Back onto the sleds we go and even higher. The open meadows above the cabin offer views for miles around. Below is the McNaughton Lake frozen for the next few months.

View the rolling ranges and mountain peaks for 360 degrees! Play around in the deep powder and enjoy our winter in the mountains.

Allan Creek
This trail switchbacks up the mountain through trees and open trails as well. Let your machine do all the work. Just hang on!

Once up at the warm-up cabin in the wide open spaces, the caretaker, a feisty pine martin, will greet you beside the toasty fire. Even she loves the winter and all it’s visitors.

Riding along from meadow to meadow will bring new breathtaking views of the alpine we have come to embrace in the winter. Mount Robson can be seen from high above treeline. Try and pick it out!

This trail is very popular among experienced sledders so always be courteous and give way to those who just can’t wait to get up top.

Westridge
This trail runs along a ridge above the town of Valemount, in British Columbia. It is excellent for those who for the first time would like to experience snowmobiling. Through deep forests and snow we go and round the corner to a cozy cabin which offers views to the valley below. Enjoy a hot drink and sweet while in the open air.
